  Preferred Hotel Group appoints Asia-Pacific head

PREFERRED Hotel Group (PHG) has appointed Ananya Narayan as area managing director for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa.

Narayan replaces Mark Simmons, PHG’s previous area managing director for Asia, and will also continue to hold his current role as senior vice president – global strategy.

Prior to joining PHG in 2005, Narayan held several roles for the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, including director of strategic marketing, Asia Pacific for Hyatt International, and director of marketing at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
